Share a collection with a friend

Give a friend live read access to one of your collections through iCloud sharing.

You can share a whole collection — say, your LEGO sets — with a friend or family member. They see your items in their own copy of Klepto, and updates sync live.

Send an invite

  1. Open the collection you want to share.
  2. Tap the share icon in the top-right of the collection view.
  3. Choose who to send it to — Messages, Mail, or copy the link.
  4. Set access to read-only (default) or read-write.
  5. Send.

Accept an invite

  1. Open the link on a device that has Klepto installed.
  2. The system prompts you to accept the shared collection.
  3. It shows up in Klepto under Shared Collections.

Tips

  • Sharing goes through iCloud — both people need to be signed into their Apple IDs.
  • You can stop sharing at any time from the collection’s share menu; the collection stays yours, the friend loses access.
