Share a collection with a friend

Give a friend live access to one of your collections through iCloud sharing.

You can share a whole collection — say, your LEGO sets — with a friend or family member. They see your items in their own copy of Klepto, and updates sync live. Sharing is a Klepto Pro feature.

Send an invite

  1. Open the collection you want to share.
  2. Tap the share icon in the top-right of the collection view.
  3. Choose who to send it to — Messages, Mail, or copy the link.
  4. Set access to read-only (default) or read-write.
  5. Send.

Accept an invite

  1. Open the link on a device that has Klepto installed.
  2. The system prompts you to accept the shared collection.
  3. It appears alongside your own collections with a Shared badge.

Tips

  • Sharing goes through iCloud — both people need to be signed into their Apple accounts.
  • You can stop sharing at any time from the collection’s share menu; the collection stays yours, the friend loses access.
  • Shared items don’t carry your locations. Those stay private.
