Email [email protected]. One person reads it, and that person wrote the app. Include your device, what you were doing, and a screenshot if you have one. Inside the app, Settings → Contact Support starts an email with the app version filled in.

Subscriptions and refunds

Klepto Pro is billed by Apple through the App Store. Manage or cancel it in your device’s Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue them ourselves.

One subscription covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac on the same Apple account, and Family Sharing is on.

Your data

Your collection lives on your device and, if you turn on sync, in your private iCloud. Klepto’s servers hold a device token, rate-limit counters, and any reports you file — all of it deleted when you ask.

  • Take a copy: Settings → Export Collection builds a PDF with photos, or a CSV you can open in a spreadsheet. The CSV holds every item with its details; photos are in the PDF.
  • Delete what’s on our servers: Settings → Reset & Delete → Delete Server Data.
  • Delete what’s in iCloud: Settings → Reset & Delete → Reset CloudKit Data.
  • Delete what’s on the device: delete the app.

Common issues

The scan didn’t recognize my item. Try a clear, well-lit photo of the front of the box or card. If a barcode scan returned the wrong item, tap wrong item? on the card so we can fix the catalog, or email the barcode number and what it should have been.

iCloud sync isn’t working. Make sure the device is signed into iCloud and iCloud Drive is on in the system Settings. In Klepto, open Settings → iCloud, check that Sync with iCloud is on, and tap Refresh now.

I turned on sync and my items from another device didn’t appear. Sync is off by default on each device. Turn it on everywhere, then give it a few minutes on first pull if you have a lot of photos.

Expiry reminders don’t arrive. Open Settings → Expiry Dates and tap Permission. If it says denied, allow notifications for Klepto in the system Settings, then use Send a test notification.

I hit the free limit. The free tier stops at 50 items and 10 photo identifications a month. Nothing you added goes anywhere. Subscribe to Klepto Pro inside the app to keep going.

The Mac app can’t find my barcode. The Mac app has no camera. Type the number into the Barcode / Number field when adding an item, or drag a product image into the window.
