Sync between iPhone, iPad, and Mac

Sign in once — your whole collection follows you across every Apple device.

Klepto uses your private iCloud. There’s no separate Klepto account, no server-side database of your collection, and no upsell to a cloud plan.

First-time setup

  1. Sign in with your Apple ID on each device (iPhone, iPad, Mac).
  2. Open Klepto — it detects the iCloud container automatically.
  3. First launch pulls existing data down; subsequent changes sync in the background.

What syncs

  • Every item, its photos, and its metadata
  • Categories, locations, favorites, wishlist
  • Shared collections (see the sharing guide)

Tips

  • Sync speed depends on iCloud, not Klepto. Large photo libraries can take a few minutes on first pull.
  • If a device seems stuck, open Settings → iCloud and verify Klepto is enabled for that Apple ID.
